Recap of what the last meeting covered and opportunity for people not there to get clarifications on their action points
  • Ewen provided an overview based on his blog post. We reviewed last year and visioned 2015 in light of the changing funding environment and need to make a bigger splash publcaly. Two horizons 2025 and 2018, for the latter five key activity areas for planning. Worked on these to come up with consistent outcome areas for 2018 and then activity areas that lead to these. See the embeded Google Spreadsheet on the wiki notes of the meeting. Also talked about fundraising, terms of reference for new positions, M&E framework next steps, future of Yammer in the Sandbox and LinkedIn option, Internal communication, networking event. Maybe a manifesto for CCSL that focuses on development outcomes.
  • Blane adds that the activity area Going Meta means the meta level analysis of what all of this work is producing (the social learning on social learning) and building up our groups capacity to work on CCSL. Also understanding what the motives and incentives of actors are to engage in this work

  • Cecilia will send round a new draft text for comments and report on comms activities ASAP
  • Try to incorporate text from happy families into the CCSL flyer if this makes sense
